Kodiak CNC Premium Motocross Sprockets

Every Kodiak sprockets starts with 7075 certified material. After machining the mounting pattern each sprocket is then loaded into our high precision horizontal machining center. Once loaded the teeth can then be precision machined centered on the actual mounting pattern. This unique step in manufacturing ensures perfect concentricity between the sprocket carrier and the driven chain. This accuracy provides for optimal conditions to reduce drag and transmit all the power from the engine, through the sprocket, to the driven wheel. Each sprocket is then inspected by hand before being tumbled to remove all potential burrs. This tumbling also leaves an excellent finish quality that provides optimal adhesive for the final coating. Each sprocket is then anodized and finally laser etched.
